Ideal Instruction Video Library – Terms of Service

These Video Library Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of Ideal Instruction’s Video Library and related website, video, and platform features (collectively, the “Platform”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to comply with these Terms.

The Platform is intended for use only by authorized users affiliated with a subscribing school, district, educational organization, or other customer approved by Ideal Instruction. If you access the Platform on behalf of an organization, by accessing or using the Platform you agree that you are authorized to do so.

These Terms apply to individual user access to the Platform. If Ideal Instruction has entered into a separate written agreement with a subscribing school, district, organization, or customer, that agreement controls to the extent it conflicts with these Terms.

1. Authorized Use

Access to the Platform is limited to authorized users identified, approved, or permitted by a subscribing school, district, organization, or other approved customer. Authorized users may include educators, administrators, instructional coaches, professional development personnel, or other individuals approved for access by the applicable organization.

Users agree to use the Platform solely for authorized educational, professional development, instructional coaching, training, administrative, or school-approved purposes. Any use must be consistent with the purpose for which access was provided by the subscribing organization.

Access to the Platform does not authorize use for personal, commercial, public, or unrelated purposes. Users should access only the materials made available to them through the Platform, and only for the approved purpose associated with their role or organization.

2. Account Security and Access Controls

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of login credentials. Credentials may not be shared with any unauthorized person, including individuals within the same organization who have not been approved for access.

Users are responsible for activity occurring through their accounts or credentials. Users must promptly notify Ideal Instruction at info@ideal-instruction.com if they suspect unauthorized access, credential compromise, improper sharing, or any other security concern involving the Platform.

Ideal Instruction may use access controls designed to limit Platform access to authorized users.

Ideal Instruction may suspend, restrict, revoke, rotate, or disable access credentials if it reasonably believes that credentials have been misused, access is no longer authorized, or continued access may create a security, privacy, or operational risk.

3. Content Ownership

All videos, materials, and content on the Platform (including text, graphics, layouts, designs, compilations, documentation, and related content) are the intellectual property of Ideal Instruction and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of the Platform or any Platform content to any user.

Subject to these Terms and any applicable written agreement, Ideal Instruction grants authorized users a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable right to access and view Platform content solely for authorized purposes.

Users may not use Platform content except as expressly permitted by these Terms, the applicable subscribing organization, or Ideal Instruction in writing. Prohibited actions include the following:

• Downloading, recording, or reproducing content
• Sharing content outside of their organization
• Using content for commercial purposes without written consent

All rights not expressly granted are reserved by Ideal Instruction and its licensors.

4. Restrictions on Use

Users may not use the Platform for any unauthorized purpose. Without limitation, users may not:

• Download, record, screenshot, copy, reproduce, modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works from Platform content except as expressly authorized in writing
• Publish, post, transmit, distribute, display, perform, share, or otherwise make Platform content available to any unauthorized person or to the public
• Upload, post, or transfer Platform content to social media, public websites, file-sharing services, artificial intelligence tools, or other third-party platforms without authorization
• Use Platform content for commercial purposes, marketing, advertising, resale, or any purpose unrelated to the authorized educational or professional use
• Remove, obscure, or alter any copyright notice, watermark, attribution, access-control notice, or proprietary-rights notice
• Attempt to bypass, disable, interfere with, or circumvent Platform security, access restrictions, technical controls, or usage limitations
• Scrape, harvest, index, reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract Platform content, data, source code, or underlying technology except where such restriction is prohibited by law
• Use Platform content to train, develop, test, or improve artificial intelligence, machine-learning, facial-recognition, biometric, or automated decision-making systems
• Use Platform content to identify, contact, profile, target, harass, embarrass, or otherwise misuse the image, likeness, voice, conduct, or identity of any individual appearing in the content
• Use the Platform in any manner that violates applicable law, school or district policy, organizational policy, or these Terms

5. Student Privacy & FERPA

Some content may include classroom footage, students, educators, school activities, or other school-related material. Schools, districts, educational organizations, and authorized users are responsible for using such content in accordance with applicable student privacy laws, school or district policies, internal approvals, and any instructions provided by the subscribing organization.

Ideal Instruction is not a school or school district and does not determine whether particular content constitutes an education record, student record, or other protected information. Those determinations are made by the applicable school, district, or subscribing organization.

Users must handle Platform content confidentially, respectfully, and only for authorized educational, professional development, training, administrative, or school-approved purposes.

Users should not discuss, disclose, identify, contact, profile, evaluate, embarrass, or otherwise misuse any student, educator, or other individual appearing in Platform content except as authorized by the applicable school, district, organization, or written agreement.

6. Access Termination

Ideal Instruction reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the Platform at any time if it reasonably believes that these Terms are violated, if access is no longer authorized by the subscribing organization, credentials have been misused, Platform content has been improperly shared, or continued access may create a security, privacy, legal, operational, or reputational risk.

Ideal Instruction may also restrict or terminate access at the request of a subscribing school, district, organization, or other approved customer, or when a subscription, engagement, or authorization for access ends.

Upon suspension or termination, users must immediately stop accessing and using the Platform and must delete or destroy any unauthorized copies, recordings, screenshots, downloads, excerpts, or other retained Platform content in their possession or control.

7. Disclaimer

Ideal Instruction uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to secure the Platform and Platform content. However, no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, uninterrupted, or error-free.

Ideal Instruction may modify, update, suspend, limit, or discontinue Platform features, content, or availability from time to time, including for maintenance, security, operational, legal, or customer-related reasons. Platform access may also be affected by third-party service providers, internet connectivity, hosting service, or factors outside Ideal Instruction’s control.

8. Changes to Terms

Ideal Instruction may update these Terms of Service at any time. The updated Terms will be effective when posted or otherwise made available, unless a later effective date is stated.

Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of any updates. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you should stop using the Platform.
